Intergalactic Krewe of Chewbaccus
The Intergalactic Krewe of Chewbaccus paraded down the streets in the Marigny & the French Quarter in New Orleans on Saturday, January 28, 2023 with the theme “Let the Wookiee Win!”
IKoC is a Mardi Gras parade organization that consists of walking groups and creative “contraptions” (instead of floats) that celebrate all things sci-fi and space. You can expect to see Star Wars, Trekkies, ET, UFO, video games, aliens, etc. IKoC is comprised of so many participants; it has become the largest walking parade in New Orleans.
